Overhead power line replay
If it is known or virtually certain that a ball hit an overhead power line within the course boundary on Blue 1, Blue 9 or Red 3, the stroke must be replayed from the original spot under Rule 14.6.
Gravel-filled drainage lines
Gravel-filled drainage lines are treated as ground under repair and relief is available under Rule 16.
Immovable obstruction near the green
For a ball in a fairway-height-or-lower area, relief under Rule 16.1b is allowed when an immovable obstruction is on the line of play, within two club-lengths of the ball, or on/within two club-lengths of the green in a fairway-height-or-lower area.
Ground under repair markings
Areas enclosed by a white spray line, marked with blue stakes, or otherwise marked as ground under repair are abnormal course conditions and relief is available under Rule 16.
Out of bounds boundary
Out of bounds is defined by white stakes or plates. The practice area by the restaurant is out of bounds, bounded from the southern edge of the restaurant flowerbed around the practice green to the white stake by the chipping green.
Cut-turf seams
If the ball lies in or touches a cut-turf seam, or a seam interferes with the intended swing area, relief is allowed; stance interference alone is not enough. All seams in the cut-turf area are treated as one seam for relief.
Animals not loose impediments
An animal that is not defined as a loose impediment may be moved. If the ball is moved, there is no penalty and the ball must be replaced.
Bunker washout channels
In bunkers, deep channels caused by sand being washed away by running water are ground under repair; relief under Rule 16.1c is allowed, but stance interference alone is not enough.
