Cart paths and penalty-area boundaries
A ball on or within a cart path receives relief toward the course without penalty when the limiting edge is a penalty area or out of bounds; where the cart path forms the boundary, its outer edge is the boundary.
Ground under repair
Ground under repair is marked by white lines on the ground.
Hole-specific penalty areas and out of bounds
The official sheet defines penalty areas and out of bounds by hole, including rivers, lakes, cart-path sides, roads, condominium boundaries and red or white stakes from holes 1 through 18.
Movable and immovable obstructions
Paved cart paths not otherwise covered, hydrants, cement covers and sewers are immovable obstructions. Black-and-white stakes and yellow cord with stakes are movable obstructions.
Public roads and marked boundaries are out of bounds
Public roads surrounding the course are out of bounds. White stakes and the listed condominium and road boundaries also define out of bounds.
