Internal out of bounds
Internal out of bounds applies to the right and left of the 1st hole, left of the 2nd, right of the 4th, both sides of the 6th, and right and left of the 18th.
Preferred lies / placing in fairway
The official course-status notice states that placing in the fairway may apply; confirm the current status before play.

The undulating terrain and tree-lined parkland reward a controlled tee line, careful elevation judgement and patience around sloping greens. Lees Hall Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course designed by Alex Herd, set on rolling ground above Sheffield with expansive views across the city. Map the internal out-of-bounds before choosing aggressive tee lines. Allow for uneven lies and elevation on approach shots. Use conservative targets when the boundary side is in play. Keep the ball in play across the rolling parkland.
