Out of bounds and internal boundaries
Out of bounds is defined by the line between the course-side points of white stakes at ground level or white lines. Internal OB marked by black-and-white stakes applies when playing holes 5, 6, 16 and 17; on specified other holes the stakes are immovable obstructions.
Ground under repair and no-play zones
Areas marked by blue stakes or otherwise designated are GUR; white spray lines define the boundary. Blue stakes with green tops define no-play zones treated as GUR, with relief under Rule 16.1f.
Road from hole 16 to 17
The road left and behind the green on hole 16 down to the out-of-bounds boundary at tee 60 of hole 17 is an organic part of the course; the ball must be played as it lies.
