Winter rules league option
In the men's league, a player may improve a fairway lie by up to six inches or to grass, but must keep the same lie category and notify opponents on hole 1.
Creeks and bromegrass
A ball in a creek, under a tree or in bromegrass cannot be improved under the winter-rules option; applicable penalty drops are specified.
Out of bounds or lost ball option
For league play, out of bounds or lost ball may be played stroke-and-distance for one penalty stroke, or dropped in the nearest fairway for a two-stroke penalty.
Flower beds
There is no free relief from flower beds; play the ball as it lies or take the stated one-stroke penalty and drop no closer to the hole.
Retaining wall on hole 2
There is no free relief from the retaining wall on hole 2; a one-stroke penalty drop may be taken two club-lengths no closer to the hole.

Course Character
The course gets its character from thorn trees, wildflower-lined creek corridors and bi-level holes. The ledges on holes 5 and 9 create memorable risk-reward decisions: lay up to the lower fairway or challenge the drop and narrow landing area.
