Unmarked ditches
All unmarked ditches are treated as lateral water hazards.
Ground under repair
GUR includes white/blue markings, exposed rock on closely mown areas except Blue 3, ant hills and rain or irrigation bunker damage.
Immovable obstructions
Paved roads and paths, white-lined road ends/extensions and supported trees are immovable obstructions with relief under Rule 24-2b.
Distance measuring devices
Distance devices are allowed except in competitions where the committee prohibits them; using other play-assisting functions breaches Rule 14-3.
Bunker stones
Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions.
